Calpe is a wonderful place to take a holiday!  It combines a picturesque old town, with it’s many narrow streets and squares with a modern town without losing it’s Spanish feel. It has two extensive beaches, a working fishing port and many delightful restaurants and bars.

The exceptional climate makes it a great place to visit all year round. Indeed the World Health Authority names the area as having one of the healthiest climates there is.

The area around Calpe is excellent for mountaineering, climbing, hiking and also scuba diving with many caves to explore. The theme parks of Benidorm are only 15 minutes away by car or half an hour on the ferry from Calpes port. Inland from Calpe are the wine growing valleys of Jalon and Orba. The beautiful cities of Alicante and Valencia are both reachable in around an hour by car. In Calpe there are many things to do apart from the obvious sun and beach!

Calpe is known for its rock, the Penon de Ifach. This is a massive rock and has inspired many people to come and enjoy the nearly perfect view around the bays and across the Costa Blanca, on a clear day the island of Ibiza is visible. Ibiza can also be visited by superfast catamaran from the port of Denia which is just along the coast from Calpe heading toward Valencia.
